We support Conserve Ohio, a call to action for park staff and visitors to practice sustainability across ODNR properties.
Keybank’s contribution will go towards a new Discovery Center at Salt Fork State Park scheduled to open in spring of 2024.
The Discovery Center will be the first Ohio State Parks nature center to have a construction plan that utilizes sustainable construction materials and practices. The center will house hands-on educational exhibits that tell the story of Ohio’s local wildlife and natural resources, conservation successes, and how Ohioans are ensuring to sustain and protect the resources that Ohio is known for, including fresh water, clean air, and energy.
Vesper Energy’s contribution provides two water bottle filling stations at John Bryan State Park (coming soon!). Using refillable water bottles instead of single-use ones keeps plastic out of the landfill and trash out of our parks!
