Enhance, Protect, and Preserve
Currently Funding For:
Our Inaugural Project
Donors can support the Ohio State Parks Foundation’s inaugural project: improving access throughout the park system and fostering more inclusive environments for recreation.
Public spaces are for everyone. Donors can help to ensure all visitors feel welcome with funds to:
- Provide all-terrain wheelchairs specially designed for the safe navigation of uneven surfaces, equipping everyone to explore the parks’ trails safely
- Add safety features and enhancements to trails for visitors, such as braille signs, physical aids, and sensory displays focused on touch, sound, and smell.
- Offer accessible launch ramps, kayaks, and accessories for waterways, to equip individuals with limited mobility to safely access the water.

Ohio State Parks Foundation (OSPF) formed in January of 2021. It is a public charity, recognized by the IRS under Internal Revenue code 501(c)(3).
