The Ohio State Parks Foundation wishes to convey a heartfelt thank you to our donors, corporate sponsors, local friends groups and our community for making a difference in people’s lives through your support this past year. Together, we’ve been able to accomplish our mission of enhancing Ohio State Parks in many ways.
Review Our 2022 Impact
New kayak launches, ADA kayaks, mobility mats, accessible playgrounds, storybook trails, all-terrain hiking chairs, sensory play equipment, and pollinator gardens are some of the wonderful items that have been added to an Ohio State Park through our funding. Maumee Bay, Van Buren, Alum Creek, East Fork, Rocky Fork, Cowan Lake, Adams Lake, Lake Milton, and Salt Fork State Park were all enhanced by donated equipment or infrastructure in 2022. Additionally, a new accessible playground project at Dillon State Park will be completed in 2023.
During this giving season, we ask you to consider a gift of $50, $100 or $250 to the Ohio State Parks Foundation. These funds will help us continue our work on making parks more inclusive and accessible for all visitors.
In other Foundation news, we are excited about our future – former Governor Bob Taft has been named as our new Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Under his leadership, we look forward to enhancing more parks with infrastructure that provides ways for everyone to enjoy our parks.
We hope you’ll support us this giving season by donation and sharing your donation story with others. You are truly making a difference in our state parks!
